Allahbadia’s comments on comedian Samay Raina’s show, “India’s Got Latent,” sparked widespread outrage and led to multiple FIRs being filed against him.
On Monday, Allahbadia appeared before Maharashtra Cyber officials to give a statement regarding the obscenity case filed against him and others involved in the show. In his statement, he acknowledged making a mistake by using inappropriate language and issuing controversial comments. He also clarified that his appearance on the show was out of friendship with Raina and that he received no payment for his participation.
The Maharashtra Cyber and Mumbai police are currently investigating the incident.
