Tue Feb 25 03:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Wolverines Look to Bounce Back Against Nebraska After Rivalry Loss

**LINCOLN, NE (February 22, 2025)** – The No. 15 University of Michigan Wolverines (20-6, 12-3 Big Ten) will face the Nebraska Cornhuskers (17-10, 7-9 Big Ten) tonight at Pinnacle Bank Arena, seeking to rebound from a loss to Michigan State. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. CST on FS1.

Michigan’s six-game winning streak ended Friday night with a defeat against their in-state rivals, putting them a half-game behind Michigan State in the Big Ten standings. Despite a dominant historical record against Nebraska (22-5 all-time), the Wolverines have lost their last two matchups against the Cornhuskers.

This game marks the first of two final road games for Michigan, sandwiched between a rivalry game and an upcoming contest against Rutgers. The Wolverines are currently in the midst of a demanding three-games-in-seven-days stretch. Following the Nebraska game, Michigan will enjoy a much-needed three-game home stand at Crisler Center, their first back-to-back home games since December.

First-year head coach Dusty May has led the Wolverines to a 20-win season, his third consecutive 20-win campaign following successful stints at Florida Atlantic. His 12 Big Ten wins tie him with Steve Fisher for the most by a first-year Michigan coach.

Key players for Michigan include Vladislav Goldin, currently second in the Big Ten in field goal percentage (63.9%), and Danny Wolf, nearing a career milestone of 100 assists and averaging a near double-double with 12.8 points and 9.9 rebounds per game. The team boasts a strong overall field goal percentage, ranking third in the Big Ten and 14th nationally. However, three-point shooting has cooled recently after a hot streak earlier in the season.
