**Bengaluru, February 25, 2025** – Hennur police have apprehended a 19-year-old repeat offender, Poojari Vannuru Swamy, in connection with the recent burglary of a mobile phone shop in Kalyana Nagar. Swamy, hailing from Ananthapura in Andhra Pradesh, allegedly stole 14 phones but was apprehended near the Tin factory in K.R. Puram with 11 phones valued at ₹4.7 lakh. Police recovered the remaining phones, which Swamy had sold to associates and family members. Authorities report Swamy’s involvement in multiple previous house burglaries.
