**Dindigul/Theni, Tamil Nadu – February 24, 2025** – The Tamil Nadu government launched 1,000 “Mudhalvar Marunthagam” (Chief Minister’s Pharmacies) across the state on Monday, aimed at improving healthcare access. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the initiative via video conference, with individual pharmacy openings taking place in various districts.

In Dindigul district, Rural Development Minister I. Periyasamy inaugurated a pharmacy in Kannivadi, alongside Dindigul Collector S. Saravanan. Simultaneously, in Theni district, the launch event took place in Allinagaram, attended by Collector Ranjeet Singh and Theni MP Thanga Tamil Selvan. The new pharmacies represent a significant step in the state government’s healthcare initiatives.
