**KOCHI, February 25, 2025** – The Goethe-Zentrum will host a performance by German band The Playfords on February 27th at the Chavara Cultural Centre in Kochi. The five-member band, hailing from Weimar (the birthplace of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe), will present early German songs and dance music spanning the 17th to 19th centuries. Their performance will feature traditional instruments including the viola da gamba, lute, recorders, and percussion. The concert begins at 7 p.m.
