Tue Feb 25 14:20:00 UTC 2025: **Senator Demands Full Disclosure of Epstein Files from FBI and IRS**

WASHINGTON—Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) is demanding the full release of unredacted records related to the late Jeffrey Epstein from the FBI and IRS. In a letter to newly inaugurated FBI Director Kash Patel and Acting IRS Commissioner Douglas O’Donnell, Blackburn reiterated her long-standing call for transparency in the case. She insists on the release of complete flight logs from Epstein’s private jet and helicopter, Ghislaine Maxwell’s records including the infamous “little black book,” and surveillance footage from Epstein’s Palm Beach residence. Blackburn also wants the IRS to release all financial records related to Epstein and Maxwell.

While redacted versions of some documents have surfaced previously, Blackburn argues that the public deserves the complete, unredacted versions to fully understand the extent of Epstein’s network and potential accomplices. She cites her previous efforts, including attempts to subpoena the files and previous requests to former FBI Director Christopher Wray, which she claims yielded insufficient results. Director Patel previously committed to working with Blackburn on this matter during his confirmation hearing. However, the extent of the information’s release remains uncertain due to concerns about revealing personal information of individuals who may not have committed any crimes. The Senator’s push comes amidst ongoing public speculation surrounding Epstein’s associates and follows recent comments from Attorney General Pam Bondi indicating that Epstein’s client list is under review for possible release.
