NEW YORK (Fox News) – Actor Alec Baldwin was involved in a heated altercation with comedian Jason Scoop Sunday night in Manhattan. Witnesses say the confrontation occurred near Baldwin’s apartment building after Scoop, a Donald Trump impersonator, approached the actor.
The exchange escalated quickly, with Baldwin allegedly making verbal threats and ultimately threatening to “snap [Scoop’s] f—–g neck in half” if a camera wasn’t present. Baldwin reportedly referenced his children living in the building during the argument. Video footage of the incident appears to corroborate these accounts.
This is not the first time Baldwin has been involved in a public confrontation. In April, he was involved in an incident at a New York City coffee shop where he allegedly slapped a woman’s phone after she asked him to make a political statement.
A representative for Alec Baldwin has been contacted for comment but has yet to respond. The incident follows a tumultuous period for the actor, including the dismissal of involuntary manslaughter charges related to the fatal shooting on the set of the film *Rust*.
