Tue Feb 25 09:43:56 UTC 2025: ## New Search Launched for Missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370

**Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia** – A new search for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, which vanished in 2014 with 239 people onboard, has been launched, Malaysian Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced Tuesday. The search is being conducted by Ocean Infinity, a maritime exploration firm, under a “no find, no fee” agreement. While the specifics of the contract are still being finalized, Mr. Loke expressed optimism about Ocean Infinity’s proactive approach. The firm previously conducted an unsuccessful search in 2018. This renewed search follows a previous unsuccessful, large-scale search led by Australia, covering 120,000 square kilometers of the Indian Ocean. The disappearance of MH370 remains one of aviation’s greatest unsolved mysteries, sparking numerous theories over the years. The Malaysian government’s decision to relaunch the search comes after agreeing in December to pursue the initiative if compelling evidence was found.
