**Madurai, February 24, 2025** – The water level in the Mullaperiyar dam currently stands at 116.20 feet, below the maximum permissible level of 142 feet, according to a report released today. The dam’s inflow is 61 cusecs, while the discharge is 356 cusecs. Meanwhile, the Vaigai dam’s water level is at 62.01 feet (maximum 71 feet), with an inflow of 79 cusecs and a discharge of 69 cusecs.
