**Hyderabad, February 24, 2025** – Acclaimed director Raj R, known for “Mallesham” and “8 A.M. Metro,” unveiled his next project, “23,” at a launch event in Hyderabad on Monday. The film, backed by Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media, is inspired by true events and promises a compelling narrative exploring the complexities of justice.
The first-look poster depicts a burning bus and individuals bound in gunny sacks, hinting at a dramatic plot. A quote from George Orwell – “All are equal, but some are more equal than others” – and the Telugu tagline questioning the impartiality of law in society further emphasize the film’s social commentary.
While exploring themes of justice, “23” is also described as a love story incorporating elements of repentance and redemption. Teja and Tanmayee star in the lead roles, with cinematography by Sunny Kurapati and music by Mark K Robin. Studio 99 produces, and Spirit Media distributes the film.
