**Hyderabad –** The Telangana Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE), commencing March 5th and concluding March 25th, will be held under stringent security measures, officials announced. Over 996,000 students are registered for the exams across 1,532 centers. In Hyderabad alone, 179,218 students will sit for the exams at 244 centers.

To prevent cheating and ensure a smooth examination process, the government has implemented several measures. These include: deploying RTC buses for student transportation, guaranteeing uninterrupted power and water supply, providing sanitation and medical facilities at all centers, installing CCTV cameras for surveillance, and imposing prohibitory orders around exam venues. Photocopy shops near exam centers will be temporarily closed. Surprise inspections will be conducted, and only authorized personnel with ID cards will be granted access. A dedicated team of officials, including superintendents, departmental officers, and squads, will monitor the exams. Strict protocols for question paper handling and answer sheet sealing will also be observed.

Students are urged to download their hall tickets in advance and utilize the QR code to verify their assigned exam center. They are advised to arrive at their designated center by 8:00 AM for the 9:00 AM exam. The Hyderabad Intermediate district education officer, D. Oddenna, assured that all necessary infrastructure and security arrangements are in place for the exams.
