**Bengaluru, February 24, 2025** – A 26-year-old rowdy sheeter, identified as Rahul, is on the run after allegedly setting fire to multiple vehicles belonging to his former girlfriend following a breakup. The incident, which occurred Saturday night in Bengaluru’s Subramanyapura and C.K. Acchukattu areas, was captured on CCTV.
Rahul, known to Hanumanth Nagar police station, is wanted for previous assault charges. After his girlfriend ended their relationship, he, along with associates, went to her parents’ home where he assaulted her father and torched her motorcycle. He later tracked her to her apartment, attacked the security guard, and set her car ablaze; a nearby vehicle was also damaged.
Police have registered two cases against Rahul based on the victim’s complaint. However, tracking him is proving difficult as he reportedly does not use a mobile phone. A senior police officer stated that the investigation is underway and Rahul and his accomplices will be apprehended soon.
