Mon Feb 24 02:40:00 UTC 2025: **PM Modi to Transfer ₹22,700 Crore to Farmers’ Accounts, Inaugurate Global Investors Summit**
Patna/Bhopal, [Date]: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer over ₹22,700 crore to the accounts of more than 90 million farmers across India under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme on February 24th. Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced this on Sunday, stating the transfer will occur via a single click while the Prime Minister is in Bihar. During his visit, PM Modi will also discuss the establishment of a Makhana board, as announced in the recent Union Budget, to address the challenges faced by Makhana farmers.
In a separate engagement, PM Modi’s schedule for the inauguration of the ‘Invest Madhya Pradesh – Global Investors Summit 2025’ in Bhopal on Monday has been adjusted. To avoid inconveniencing students taking board exams, the Prime Minister shifted his departure time from Raj Bhavan by 15 minutes, from 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav praised PM Modi’s consideration for the students. Before heading to Bhopal, PM Modi laid the foundation stone for a cancer hospital at Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur on Sunday.
