Mon Feb 24 06:20:00 UTC 2025: ## PM-KISAN 19th Installment of ₹2,000 to Reach 11 Crore+ Farmers on Monday

**Bhagalpur, Bihar –** The 19th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, totaling ₹2,000 per eligible farmer family, will be disbursed on Monday, February 24th, the government announced. The release will coincide with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bhagalpur.

Launched in 2018, the PM-KISAN scheme provides annual financial assistance of ₹6,000 to landholding farmer families across India. The funds are directly deposited into beneficiaries’ bank accounts. Over 110 million farmers have benefited from the scheme’s previous 18 installments. The last installment, distributed in October 2024, reached nearly 9.58 crore farmers.

Eligibility is determined by state and union territory administrations based on scheme guidelines, with a farmer family defined as a husband, wife, and minor children. Beneficiaries are required to complete eKYC verification to receive payments. Those who no longer meet the eligibility criteria can voluntarily surrender their benefits.
