**Bhagalpur, Bihar:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Bhagalpur today to release the 19th installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. This will transfer ₹22,000 crore to the accounts of approximately 9.8 crore farmers. He will be joined on stage by Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and several other dignitaries including ministers Jitendra Ram Manjhi, Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh, and Giriraj Singh, along with Chirag Paswan.

However, the PM’s visit coincides with significant disruptions in the region. Railway services are experiencing delays and cancellations due to a traffic block, affecting numerous trains originating from Bhagalpur. Separately, a passenger has filed a complaint with the railway department after being charged ₹2660 in cancellation fees despite their train being cancelled.
