Mon Feb 24 02:40:00 UTC 2025: ## Modi to Release 19th Installment of PM-Kisan Yojana
**New Delhi:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 19th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme today from Bhagalpur, Bihar. Approximately ₹22,000 crore will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of 9.8 crore eligible farmers through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme. This follows the 18th installment of ₹20,000 crore distributed to 9.4 crore farmers in October 2025.
The PM-Kisan scheme, launched in 2019, has already disbursed 18 installments and is now touted as the world’s largest DBT scheme. Eligible farmers receive ₹2,000 every four months (₹6,000 annually), disbursed in three installments. Beneficiary lists are available online, allowing farmers to check their eligibility for the 19th installment.
**KYC and Complaint Resolution:** KYC is mandatory to receive the benefit. Farmers can complete their KYC online through the official PM-Kisan website (http://pmkisan.gov.in). For grievances regarding non-receipt of installments despite eligibility, farmers can contact pmkisan-ict@gov.in, helpline numbers 155261 or 1800115526, or 011-23381092.
