**New Delhi, February 24, 2025** – A 20-year-old woman from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, was arrested at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Monday for allegedly smuggling narcotics worth over ₹11 crore. Customs officials intercepted the woman upon her arrival from Bangkok on February 21st. The drugs, suspected to be ganja (marijuana), were concealed within packets of cookies and rice in her luggage. A total of 11,284 grams of the substance was seized. Authorities confirmed the substance as ganja through a diagnostic test. The woman is currently under arrest.
