HYDERABAD, INDIA – The upcoming Telugu film “Court,” produced by Nani and starring Priyadarshi, is set to release on March 14th. The film, directed by debutant Ram Jagadeesh, uses the POCSO Act as its backdrop. A press meet held Friday revealed details about the movie, clarifying that while the promotional material might suggest a love story, the film delves into a sensitive issue.
Nani, speaking at the press meet, emphasized the director’s extensive research and assured audiences that the film, set in 2013, would be gripping and insightful, not just an awareness-raising exercise. He also dismissed speculation linking the film’s courtroom drama elements to his role in the upcoming film “Hit 3,” stating there was no connection.
Priyadarshi praised Nani’s dedication as both producer and actor, highlighting his commitment to cinema. The director expressed gratitude for Nani’s support, stating that the film wouldn’t have been possible without Nani’s production banner. He further explained the film’s importance in raising awareness about the POCSO Act and the need for legal education within the school curriculum.
Nani also confirmed that his next production, featuring Chiranjeevi and director Srikanth Odela, will begin production next year.
