**CHENNAI, February 24, 2025** – A student-run podcast, “Truly Nazareth,” celebrating its 150th episode, has become a vibrant platform showcasing inspiring stories and fostering community engagement at Nazareth College of Arts and Science in Avadi. Launched on January 26, 2023, the weekly Tamil-language podcast, available on http://www.trulynazareth.com and Spotify, consistently releases new episodes every Friday at 6 p.m.
The podcast, produced by eight students primarily from the Visual Communication department, covers mindfulness, self-development, career advice, and local happenings. Episodes, typically three to four minutes long, feature student-led initiatives like “Feed the needy,” a pandemic-era food drive that continues today, and “Reformation,” a college program supporting students facing ethical challenges.
Initially focusing solely on content creation, the team now actively promotes the podcast at college events and through social media, reaching a wider audience beyond the campus. The podcast’s evolution reflects a shift from scripted readings to more conversational, relatable content, attracting requests for participation from the local community, including entrepreneurs and parents. The podcast serves as a valuable hands-on training ground for students in content creation, audio production, and digital storytelling.
