**Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh:** G.V. Reddy, Chairman of Andhra Pradesh FiberNet, has resigned from his post, citing personal reasons. The resignation also includes his relinquishment of primary membership and National Spokesperson role in the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Reddy announced his decision via X (formerly Twitter) and submitted his resignation letter to TDP chief and former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
In his statement, Reddy expressed gratitude for the trust and support shown by the party, stating his intention to focus solely on his legal profession and rule out any future involvement with any political party.
The Andhra Pradesh government has accepted Reddy’s resignation. This announcement comes amidst ongoing controversies within FiberNet. The government also transferred FiberNet MD Dinesh Kumar, assigning him to report to the General Administration Department (GAD). A report on the internal issues within FiberNet has been submitted to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
