**Erode, Tamil Nadu, February 24, 2025** – Tribal women in Gundri village, Kadambur Hills, received certificates on Sunday, marking the successful completion of a six-month free tailoring program. The initiative, organized by the Tribal Rural Environmental and Education People Charitable Trust, ran from June 2024 to January 30, 2025, and provided training in tailoring, embroidery, jewellery making, and salwar designing.
Sub-Inspector Senthil Kumar of the Kadambur Police Station presented the certificates. The event was also attended by several social activists, a wildlife photographer, the tailoring instructor, and trust representatives. The celebration included a showcase of traditional millet-based dishes prepared by community members and schoolchildren.
