**Oxford, OH** – Tommy Carr, younger brother of Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr, has announced his commitment to play college football at Miami University (Ohio). The 6’3″, 185-pound junior from Saline High School in Michigan chose the RedHawks over offers from Akron, Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, and Iowa State.
Carr’s decision to join Miami University holds a significant Notre Dame connection. He’ll be playing for head coach Chuck Martin, a former Notre Dame assistant coach who served under Brian Kelly from 2010-2013. Martin recently became Miami’s all-time winningest coach.
