**SHIVAMOGGA, February 23, 2025** – Twenty-two students from Sahyadri Commerce and Management College in Shivamogga will showcase their literary analyses at a student seminar on Tuesday. The seminar, titled “Nanna Mechchina Pustaka” (My Favorite Book), will feature presentations on works by prominent Kannada authors including Kuvempu, Shivaram Karantha, Poornachandra Tejaswi, P. Lankesh, H. Nagaveni, Tumbadi Ramaiah, H.S. Anupama, and S.L. Byrappa.
The event aims to foster a love of reading and critical thinking skills among undergraduates. Professor Sabitha Bannadi will inaugurate the program, with writer Sarjashankar Haralimath leading a student interaction. College principal T. Avinash will preside. According to Prakash Marganahalli, head of the languages department, the seminar is designed to encourage students to engage deeply with literature and hone their analytical abilities.
