**Kozhikode, February 24, 2025** – The three-day Ragam ’25 cultural festival at the National Institute of Technology-Calicut (NIT-C) concluded on Sunday with a spectacular closing ceremony. The festival showcased a vibrant mix of traditional and contemporary arts, attracting large crowds throughout the weekend.

Traditional art forms such as Theyyam, Kalaripayattu, and Tholppavakkoothu were prominently featured, alongside classical dance competitions including Bharatanatyam and Oppana. A diverse range of musical performances captivated audiences, featuring everything from classical solo performances and a Rajan Memorial light music competition to western solo acts, a rap battle, Mappilapattu, and performances by artists like Gayathri Rajiv, Swasthi Band, Badusha and Salman, and the multi-genre band Lime Tea.

The festival also included a literary segment, I-INK, which hosted discussions on cinema, editing, journalism, mental health, and literature. Street plays in multiple languages further enriched the cultural experience. Nightly pro-shows drew significant crowds, with performances by renowned artists including Job Kurian, Shalmali Kholgade, Kanika Kapoor, Salim Sulaiman, and Pineapple Express.

The festival’s closing day held a special surprise: a visit from popular Malayalam actor Kunchacko Boban and the cast of the film “Officer on Duty.” Organizers hailed Ragam ’25 as a resounding success, celebrating the diverse talents and cultural richness on display.
