**Nanded, Maharashtra –** Ten individuals have been arrested following the brutal murder of a 21-year-old man in Hadgaon, Nanded district, police announced Sunday. Sheikh Arafat was beaten and stabbed to death on Friday evening by a mob comprised of the parents and relatives of a woman who accused him of stalking.
According to police, the group attacked Arafat near his home, kicking and beating him with sticks before fatally stabbing him. Arafat’s mother, who attempted to intervene, was also assaulted. The accused claimed Arafat had harassed and stalked the woman.
The Hadgaon police swiftly responded, arresting ten suspects on Friday night. A murder case has been filed against them. The investigation is ongoing.
