Sun Feb 23 16:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Real Madrid to Appeal Again for Bellingham’s Suspension
**MADRID** – Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham will miss at least two La Liga matches after the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) rejected the club’s initial appeal against his red card. Bellingham was sent off during last week’s 1-1 draw against Osasuna for using foul and abusive language towards the referee.
The RFEF’s two-match ban, upheld on Friday, means Bellingham will sit out Sunday’s game against Girona and the subsequent match against Real Betis. However, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti confirmed the club will lodge a second appeal in an attempt to shorten the suspension. While respecting the RFEF’s decision, Ancelotti stated that the club will strive to reduce the number of games Bellingham will miss. He added that Real Madrid has demonstrated the ability to perform well even without Bellingham in the lineup.
