**New York, NY** – Saturday Night Live (SNL) concluded its 50th-anniversary celebrations with a bang, featuring a three-hour anniversary special on February 16th that reunited past and present cast members alongside A-list celebrities like Meryl Streep, Paul McCartney, and Steve Martin. The milestone was marked by a series of events, including a three-hour concert on February 14th featuring Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, and more. Two docuseries chronicling SNL’s history also debuted on Peacock.
This weekend, instead of a live show, NBC will air re-runs: a fan-favorite episode from October 21st, 2023, featuring Bad Bunny, at 10 p.m. ET, and a Season 50 episode with Paul Mescal at 11:30 p.m. ET.
Looking ahead, SNL’s 50th season continues with comedian Shane Gillis hosting on March 1st, with musical guest Tate McRae. Lady Gaga will then take on hosting and musical guest duties on March 8th. The show’s producers have stated the February 22nd episode will not be a live broadcast.
