**New York, NY** – Following a week-long extravaganza celebrating its 50th anniversary, *Saturday Night Live* will not air a new episode this Saturday, February 22nd. Instead, NBC will broadcast a repeat of the December 7th, 2024, episode hosted by Paul Mescal with musical guest Shaboozey. The repeat allows the cast and crew a well-deserved rest after the extensive celebrations.
The anniversary festivities included a star-studded *SNL50: The Homecoming Concert* at Radio City Music Hall, hosted by Jimmy Fallon, and a three-hour primetime *SNL50: The Anniversary Special*, featuring past and present cast members. Both specials are now streaming on Peacock.
Looking ahead, *SNL* has already announced its March hosts and musical guests. Shane Gillis will host on March 1st with Tate McRae as the musical guest, followed by Lady Gaga, who will serve as both host and musical guest on March 8th, celebrating the release of her new album, *Mayhem*.
