**COIMBATORE, February 23, 2025** – The Kattoor police in Coimbatore have filed a case against a woman, Pradeeba Rani Naidu, and three others for allegedly purchasing ₹12.5 lakh worth of diamond jewelry using a cheque from a frozen bank account.
According to a complaint filed by a showroom supervisor on Cross Cut Road, Gandhipuram, the accused visited the jewelry store on January 10th and made the purchase. Upon submission to the bank, the cheque was discovered to be drawn from a frozen account.
Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
