Sun Feb 23 08:50:00 UTC 2025: ## PCB Protests Omission of Pakistan from Champions Trophy Logo
**Dubai, UAE** – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has expressed its displeasure over the omission of Pakistan’s name from the Champions Trophy logo during the live broadcast of the India-Bangladesh match in Dubai. The tournament is being hosted by Pakistan, but matches are being played in a hybrid model due to India’s refusal to tour Pakistan for security reasons.
The error, which showed only “Champions Trophy 2025” in the logo’s upper left corner, prompted the PCB to send a letter to the International Cricket Council (ICC). The ICC has acknowledged the mistake and assured the PCB that the three-line logo, prominently featuring Pakistan as the host nation, will be used in all future broadcasts.
The ICC confirmed that the corrected logo will be used for upcoming matches, including the India-Pakistan match on February 23rd and the India-New Zealand match on March 2nd, both also taking place in Dubai.
