**CHENNAI, February 21, 2025** – A Chennai court sentenced two men to 11 days in jail and a ₹10,000 fine each for possessing a small quantity of methamphetamine. G. Linganantham, 29, and S. Senthamil, 25, were apprehended by police on October 5th in Gulam Abbas Alikhan Street following a tip-off. Police seized 1.58 grams of methamphetamine and a mobile phone. The XIV Metropolitan Magistrate Court found the prosecution’s case against them proven, leading to their conviction under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
