**Hyderabad, February 22, 2025** – The State Bank of India (SBI) has significantly expanded its reach in Telangana with the inauguration of ten new branches. The virtual inauguration, conducted Friday by SBI Chairman Challa Sreenivasulu Setty, brings the bank’s total branch network in the state to 1,206.

Five of the newly opened branches are located in rural areas, demonstrating SBI’s commitment to providing banking services in underserved regions. The remaining five are situated in urban centers to meet the growing banking needs of these developing areas. The new branches are strategically located across the state, including Alampur X road, Chinnambavi, Raghavendra colony (Kondapur), Neopolis, Kistareddypet (Patancheru), Khajaguda, Osman Nagar, Kangti (Narayankhed), Suchitra Circle (Quthbullapur), and Nandipet.

In a press release, SBI’s Hyderabad Circle highlighted the strategic importance of this expansion, emphasizing the bank’s dedication to enhancing service delivery and accessibility across Telangana.

Mr. Setty urged SBI staff to prioritize four key principles: customer-centricity, business growth, sustainable growth, and employee-centricity. The expansion underscores SBI’s continued investment in the state and its commitment to serving the diverse banking needs of its customers.
