**Chennai, February 22, 2025** – A new indoor sports facility was inaugurated yesterday in Jafferkhanpet, Chennai, by Health Minister Ma. Subramanian. The ₹37 lakh facility, funded by the Mayor’s Special Development Fund, offers space for carrom, chess, and badminton. The inauguration was attended by Mayor R. Priya and other officials. Minister Subramanian also presented awards to students who excelled in competitions at the Chennai Higher Secondary School in Jafferkhanpet.
