**New Delhi, India** – Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today convened meetings to discuss the upcoming budget and a new women’s welfare scheme. The budget meeting involved discussions with officials on the budget to be presented in the Delhi Assembly. Separately, CM Gupta announced a new scheme providing ₹2,500 monthly assistance to women.

Other government actions include:

* **Hospital Visit:** Cabinet Minister Pankaj Singh will visit Rao Tula Ram Hospital at 10:30 AM with MP Kamaljeet Sahrawat.
* **Summer Action Plan Meeting:** A meeting on the Summer Action Plan will be held at 3:00 PM, chaired by Energy Minister Ashish Sood, to address potential power cuts during the upcoming summer months. Discussions will focus on power demand and supply.
* **Infrastructure Review:** CM Gupta and her ministers previously met with PWD and DJB officials to review the city’s road conditions and water supply. Instructions were given to repair potholes and ensure clean water access.
* **Ayushman Bharat Approval:** The cabinet approved the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme, which will soon benefit citizens, including senior citizens.

CM Gupta also met with the President and Vice President of India following her swearing-in ceremony, and participated in a Yumna River aarti with her cabinet. The BJP government, returned to power after 27 years, was sworn in on Thursday, with six other MLAs taking ministerial oaths alongside Gupta.
