**Bengaluru, February 22, 2025** – CapitaLand India Trust (CLINT), a major player in commercial real estate, announced a ₹1,000 crore investment in a new office development project in Bengaluru. The 1.13 million sq. ft. project is located in Nagawara, along the Outer Ring Road.
CLINT has signed a forward purchase agreement with Maia Estates Offices, a subsidiary of the Maia Group, a prominent Bengaluru-based luxury residential developer. Under the agreement, CLINT will fully finance the project’s construction and receive above-borrowing-cost interest during the development phase. The office space is expected to be acquired by CLINT in the first half of 2030, while Maia will retain ownership of the retail component.
