**New Delhi, February 21, 2025** – The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the results for the UGC NET December 2024 exam today. Candidates who took the exam can access their results on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, using their login credentials.

Over 649,490 candidates participated in the exam, which was held from January 3 to 27, 2025, resulting in a 76.5% attendance rate. The provisional answer key was released on January 31st, with a deadline for objections on February 3rd. The final answer key, incorporating any valid objections, will be used to determine the final results.

To access their results, candidates should follow these steps:

1. Visit ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
2. Click on the UGC NET Result link under Candidate Activity.
3. Enter login credentials and submit.
4. Download and save the scorecard.

The UGC-NET exam, conducted by the NTA on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC), determines eligibility for Assistant Professor positions and Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.
