**Vijayawada, February 21, 2025** – Andhra Pradesh State Fibernet Limited (APSFL) Chairman G.V. Reddy announced the termination of three top officials on Thursday for alleged dereliction of duty and obstructing a vigilance inquiry. The dismissed employees are Chief Technology Officer P. Bharadwaj, Business & Operations Head G. Suresh, and Assistant Manager (Procurement) Sasank Haidar Khan.

Mr. Reddy, speaking at a press conference, cited irregularities within the state-owned public sector undertaking (PSU) and stated that the officials had failed to comply with his directives and withheld information, including details regarding account maintenance. He specifically highlighted their lack of cooperation during a vigilance inquiry into the APSFL’s operations between 2019 and 2024, a period which saw significant financial losses for the company.
