Fri Feb 21 11:40:00 UTC 2025: **Rangers’ Europa League Opponent to be Decided in Friday Draw**

GLASGOW, Scotland – Rangers will learn their Europa League last-16 opponent on Friday. They face either Bodo/Glimt of Norway or Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce of Turkey.

Bodo/Glimt dramatically secured their place in the draw after a thrilling 6-4 aggregate victory over Twente in extra time. The match, which included three own goals and goals scored deep into stoppage time, ended 5-2 on the night to Bodo/Glimt.

Meanwhile, Fenerbahce overcame Anderlecht 5-2 in a match disrupted by a 15-minute suspension due to fighting between rival fans and reports of racist chanting.

Rangers qualified directly for the last 16 after finishing in the top eight of the Europa League’s group stage. The draw will take place on Friday at noon, determining whether they face Bodo/Glimt, who boast a previous victory over Celtic, or Fenerbahce, who have faced both Celtic and Rangers in European competition before. The first leg of the last-16 ties will be played on March 6th, with the second leg a week later.
