Shuhaib, accused of leaking Class 10 question papers for Onam and Christmas exams via his YouTube channel, filed an anticipatory bail plea. His lawyer argued that the threat of arrest prevented him from explaining his actions to the police, claiming he could clarify his question selection process if given the opportunity.
The court instructed the investigating officer to record Shuhaib’s statement and determine the necessity of custodial interrogation. Shuhaib’s petition maintains his innocence, alleging that teaching and coaching centers, not himself, published the purported leaked questions. The investigation continues.
