Fri Feb 21 12:10:00 UTC 2025: **Light Freezing Drizzle Expected in South Texas This Weekend**

SAN ANTONIO, TX (KSAT) – South Texas residents can expect a mix of light precipitation, including freezing drizzle, this Friday and Saturday, according to KSAT Weather Authority meteorologists. While accumulations will be minimal, a light glaze of ice is possible on elevated surfaces such as cars and outdoor furniture, beginning Friday evening. A few sleet pellets may also briefly fall.

By Saturday, temperatures will rise slightly, changing any precipitation to drizzle and sprinkles. However, temperatures will remain cold, only reaching the upper 30s. The rain will move east of the area by Saturday afternoon.

A significant warm-up is forecast for Sunday, with temperatures expected to reach the lower 60s and jump into the upper 70s early next week under sunny skies. KSAT meteorologists urge residents to remain vigilant and monitor weather updates for any changes.
