**Beijing, February 21 (Xinhua)** – Jiang Chaoliang, a member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC) and vice chairman of the NPC’s Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, is under investigation for serious violations of discipline and law, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) and the National Supervisory Commission announced today. The CCDI and the National Supervisory Commission are conducting disciplinary review and supervisory investigation into Jiang’s alleged misconduct.
