Thu Feb 20 07:40:00 UTC 2025: ## Chrisley Family Seeks Trump Pardon for Incarcerated Parents

**Atlanta, GA –** Savannah Chrisley, daughter of reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley, is pursuing a presidential pardon from former President Donald Trump for her parents, who are serving combined 19-year prison sentences for bank fraud and tax evasion.

Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted in November 2022 and began serving their sentences in January 2023. Todd received a 12-year sentence (later reduced by two years), while Julie’s seven-year sentence was initially vacated due to a legal error but subsequently reinstated. Their appeals have been unsuccessful.

Savannah confirmed to People magazine that the family is exploring all avenues, including seeking a pardon from Trump. She stated, “I know that I am going through the proper channels… and I’m going to bring as much awareness to it as possible because these things should not happen.” She previously addressed the case at the Republican National Convention, alleging persecution by Fulton County prosecutors.

The Chrisleys’ lawyer, Jay Surgent, separately told CBS News that they plan to file a pardon request with Trump within the next two to four months, believing the former president will consider it given what they believe was unfair treatment and potential constitutional rights violations.

Savannah, reflecting on the family’s ordeal, emphasized her newfound resilience, citing her father’s encouragement and her determination to provide a positive example for her future children.
