Thu Feb 20 02:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Auburn Equestrian Team Welcomes Graduate Student Sarah Wren

**AUBURN, Ala.** – The top-ranked Auburn University equestrian team has added 22 new members for the 2024-25 season, and one standout is graduate student Sarah Wren. Wren, a jumping seat rider from Suffolk, Virginia, brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the team.

A former IEA national champion (2019), Wren earned her undergraduate degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and is now pursuing a master’s in Speech-Language Pathology at Auburn. She plans to work as a pediatric speech-language pathologist after graduation.

“Auburn felt like home from the second I stepped on campus,” Wren said, citing the strong sense of community as a major draw. She’s already embraced Auburn traditions, particularly “rolling Toomer’s Corner” after a football victory.

Wren, who has been riding since age six, is thrilled to join the team. “Joining the team this year has been the greatest gift,” she shared, praising her welcoming teammates. Beyond equestrian, Wren enjoys reading, traveling (recently returning from a summer in London and across Europe), and is learning to knit. Her favorite Auburn spot? Samford Lawn on a sunny day.

Auburn equestrian fans can look forward to seeing Wren compete this season. Her dedication to her studies, her passion for riding, and her love for Auburn make her a valuable asset to the team.
