Wed Feb 19 17:26:47 UTC 2025: ## RSS Inaugurates New Delhi Headquarters: Bhagwat Calls for Work Matching Building’s Grandeur

**New Delhi, February 19, 2025** – The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) today inaugurated its new headquarters, “Keshav Kunj,” in New Delhi, a sprawling complex built at a cost of ₹150 crore. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat addressed volunteers, urging them to ensure their work matched the scale of the new facility.

The three 13-story towers boast 3.75 acres of built-up area, encompassing approximately 300 rooms and offices, along with auditoriums, a library, a hospital, and a Hanuman temple. Funding for the project, which commenced in 2016 and concluded after an eight-year construction period partly delayed by the pandemic, was sourced from over 75,000 individual and organizational donors supporting the Sangh’s ideology.

Bhagwat celebrated the “homecoming” to the new building, stating that the RSS’s work is expanding nationally and aiming for global reach. He emphasized the organization’s ambition to elevate India to the position of “Vishwaguru” (world leader). While acknowledging the improved circumstances compared to the Sangh’s earlier history, Bhagwat stressed the importance of maintaining the organization’s core direction, urging responsible use of resources commensurate with the new headquarters’ grandeur. The previous Keshav Kunj office, established in 1939, underwent three renovations in the past 80 years.
