**New Delhi, February 20, 2025** – Rekha Gupta was sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Delhi today in a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries at Ramlila Maidan. The BJP MLA’s appointment follows the party’s victory in the recent Delhi Assembly elections, where Parvesh Verma notably defeated AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal.
Gupta’s cabinet will comprise six ministers, including Verma, who were appointed by the President on the advice of the newly elected CM. The other ministers are Ashish Sood, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Ravinder Indraj, Kapil Mishra, and Pankaj Kumar Singh. All six will be sworn in alongside Gupta this afternoon.
