Wed Feb 19 07:37:06 UTC 2025: ## SUV Driver Attempts to Run Over Guards at Mumbai Apartment Complex
**MUMBAI, INDIA –** A man driving a black SUV attempted to run over four security guards at the entrance of the upscale JP North apartment complex in Mira Road, Mumbai, on Tuesday morning. CCTV footage shows the vehicle striking the guards, reversing, and then ramming a guard cabin before accelerating towards more individuals standing near the gate.
The driver, identified as Kashish Gupta, fled the scene with two passengers. Prior to the incident, a video taken by a security guard captures Gupta verbally abusing the guards and issuing threats before intentionally driving the SUV towards them. He is heard saying, “Tell them to fall in line. They have no idea what I can do.”
Police have filed a case and are currently searching for Gupta. The incident occurred around 11 am on Tuesday and left the guards shaken but thankfully without serious injuries. Investigations are underway.
