**BECKLEY, WV** – Southern West Virginia is grappling with the aftermath of severe storms, historic flooding, and heavy snowfall, leading to widespread school closures and delays on Monday, February 17th.
McDowell County schools announced a closure until further notice due to the severe weather conditions. Wyoming and Summers counties will also keep their schools closed for the day. Fayetteville PK-8 will remain closed due to power outages resulting from the storms.
