NEW DELHI, INDIA – The Indian government will release the 19th installment of funds under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme on February 24th. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the funds, amounting to ₹2,000 per eligible farmer, during a program in Bhagalpur, Bihar. This installment is expected to benefit approximately 9.7 crore farmers.

To receive the funds, beneficiaries must have an Aadhaar-linked bank account and have completed their e-KYC. Farmers can check their eligibility and PM-Kisan status online at pmkisan.gov.in using their registered mobile number or Aadhaar number. A mobile app is also available.
