**New Delhi, February 19** – Delhi is bracing for a historic change in leadership as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prepares to install its first Chief Minister in over 25 years. The swearing-in ceremony, scheduled for Thursday at 4:30 PM at Ramlila Maidan, is expected to be a grand affair, attracting prominent figures including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several BJP Chief Ministers.

The Delhi Police have issued a comprehensive traffic advisory, anticipating large crowds and the presence of numerous VIPs. Several roads will experience diversions and restrictions from 7 AM to 4 PM on Thursday, impacting areas including Subhash Park, Raj Ghat, Delhi Gate, ITO, and Ajmeri Gate. The delay in announcing the Chief Minister candidate drew criticism from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia described the situation as “strange” and questioned the BJP’s decision-making process. AAP leader Gopal Rai further likened the situation to a wedding without a groom.

Preparations at Ramlila Maidan are underway, with heavy security deployment planned, including over 5,000 security personnel and more than 10 paramilitary companies. The BJP’s landslide victory in the recent assembly elections, securing 48 out of 70 seats, marks a significant return to power after nearly three decades.
