**Madurai, February 18, 2025** – The water level in the Mullaperiyar dam currently sits at 117.25 feet, below its maximum permissible level of 142 feet. This comes amidst an inflow of 2 cusecs and an outflow of 400 cusecs. Meanwhile, the Vaigai dam registered a level of 63.27 feet (maximum 71 feet), with an inflow of 160 cusecs and an outflow of 69 cusecs. The combined storage in Periyar currently stands at 3,926.93 mcft. These figures were released this evening.
